Destiny is a funny thing. It’s not always clear what it means or if you have one. And even if you have a destiny—or think you do—it can be difficult to figure out how to change it. But the first step for any journey is believing that a destination exists. So if you believe in your potential for greatness, I’m here to help you get there!
It is possible but not necessarily probable.
Yes, it’s possible to change your destiny. But it’s not a given that you’re going to succeed.
Your life is not a certainty—it never was and never will be. Likewise, your future is not set in stone; so many factors influence what happens next that we don’t know about or can’t control right now.
You could get hit by a bus tomorrow, or you might live until you’re 100 years old and slowly lose your mind as dementia sets in over time. There are many possibilities for how things could play out for us as individuals and societies. These quotes on destiny may help you to become a master of your destiny.
You can change your fate.
How you think about things is important, how you look at things is important, and so on. Of course, how you act is also important. Still, other factors influence the direction of your life: how you feel and how other people interact with you (and vice versa). And don’t forget to treat yourself well!
Believe it or not, you are the key to your future.
Your future is not set in stone, and you can change it for the better if you want to. It’s not predetermined by some higher power or outside forces; it’s entirely up to you. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t factors out of our control—but what does happen is that we get opportunities throughout life. These opportunities give us a chance to choose whether we’ll take them or not.
What will make all the difference is whether we take advantage of those opportunities when they arise, rather than waiting until later or never at all? Our past experiences indeed shape who we become today (and yes, this includes genetic predispositions). Still, no matter how much someone else may have hurt us in past relationships or job interviews, it doesn’t mean those experiences will dictate how successful or happy our futures will be—we can always choose differently now than before!
Believe in the present.
You can’t change your destiny, you say? That’s because the future doesn’t exist. The past has already happened and is gone forever, and the future hasn’t even come yet. It’s all just a projection of what could happen based on what’s happening now, which all depends on how we perceive the present moment.
Think about this for a moment
If we had never known about anything beyond our existence and everything else was still unknown to us (aside from whatever natural laws exist), then yes, I suppose it would be impossible for you not to believe in destiny—but since we do know there are many other things out there besides ourselves, who are capable of seeing them (such as aliens), then why should anyone have any reason at all not believe in free will?
The truth is this: Your actions today determine what kind of person you’ll become tomorrow–and even more importantly–your actions today determine how happy or unhappy those around them will feel tomorrow too! So why don’t people work harder to be better every day instead?”
So, learn what you can to make your present beautiful.
Change Your Approach.
To change your destiny, you have to change your approach.
If you want to change your approach, you first have to change your mindset.
If you want to change your mindset, then first and foremost, I’d like for us both to agree that we can do it—we can make these changes happen.
You are in charge of your destiny, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.
You are in charge of your own destiny, even if it doesn’t always feel that way.
Why? Because you can change your approach and attitude. You can be more proactive and take control of your life. You can work to change the things that are negative in your life and look for the opportunities within them instead of dwelling on the negatives all day long.
Conclusion
If you want to change your destiny, the first thing is to believe that you can. If you don’t believe that, then how will it ever happen? And if it doesn’t happen, then at least try not to be too disappointed with yourself.
