How to Create a GIF with Flixier
It goes without saying that the easiest way to create a GIF is through a GIF maker. And our proposal for you is Flixier. Whether you choose to make a GIF out of pictures or out of videos, this cloud-powered piece of software can help you out!!
1.How to Make a GIF from a Video
Videos are a powerful tool of communication. But what are the steps you need to take to convert a video to GIF? With Flixier, that’s way easier than you’d think.
Step 1: Choose, Import, or Upload a Video
To begin the video conversion process, click the blue “Get Started” button. Then, drag a video from your files into Flixier’s video editor, import one from sites like Google Drive and YouTube, or browse the video library until you find one that fits your GIF idea.
Step 2: Edit the Video
Customization is what makes your GIF stand out. If your chosen video is too long, too fast, too slow, or needs color touch-ups and modifications, be sure to modify it until it has the length, playback speed, and look you desire.
Step 3: Export Your Newly Created GIF
This is the section where your video is converted into a new GIF. Click the blue “Export” button in the upper right corner of the screen, then select “GIF” from the “Save as…” menu.
If you want a certain frame rate of 10, 20, or 25 frames per second, return to the “Projects” tab, right-click the project you worked on, and select “Export video.” When the new menu opens, choose “Save as: GIF”, then select one of the FPS presets and click the blue “Export Video” button to download your GIF.
2.How to Make a GIF from Images
If you want to convert images to GIFs, with Flixier, that can be done in minutes, without downloading or installing any software. All you need to do is to follow three easy steps:
Step 1: Upload Your Photos
To open Flixier in your browser, click the blue Get Started icon. Images can be imported from your computer or from Google Photos, Google Drive, Dropbox, and other online sources.
Step 2: Customize Your GIF
Drag the photographs from your library to the bottom of the screen’s timeline. Arrange them in the correct order and use the timeline to control how long they stay on screen. When you overlay two photos on the same track, you can select a transition from the dropdown selection. To add text, motion graphics, or shapes to your GIF, use the tabs on the left side of the screen.
Step 3: Download Your GIF
When you’re through creating your GIF, select the Export and Download button in the top right corner of the screen. Make certain that GIF is selected from the Format dropdown list. Flixier will process your new GIF for a few seconds before saving it to your PC.
Share the GIFs with Your Friends!
Once you have created your GIF with Flixier, you can upload it to platforms such as Giphy and Tenor and share it with your friends.
You will be able to elicit emotions in a more creative way than by using emojis in a conversation. And who knows, maybe they decide to share them with even more people—this way your GIF can go viral!
