In the gripping American prison drama Black Bird, starring British actor Taron Egerton, convicted drug dealer Jimmy Keene is compelled to extract a confession from alleged serial killer Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser) while being held in a maximum-security facility. The series depicts how Jimmy made a bargain with the devil to shorten his own prison term and is based on the true-crime biography In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and a Dangerous Bargain for Redemption (opens in new tab) by Jimmy himself and Hillel Levin. His duty? To ascertain Hall’s reality. Hall may be giving Jimmy what he wants to hear, though. Released on the 8th of July 2022, this makes it on the list of the best TV shows of 2022.
An American TV miniseries called Obi-Wan Kenobi was produced for the Disney+ streaming service where Ewan McGregor reprises his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars prequel trilogy in this instalment of the saga. The series follows Kenobi as he sets out to rescue the abducted Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) from the Galactic Empire, culminating into a paranormal investigation tools with his old pupil, Darth Vader. It is set 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005) and is the perfect TV show for all those Star Wars fans out there to get involved with.

Fans of animated comedies that are fun and adventurous should absolutely check this out, in our opinion. Unique and entertaining to follow are the location and narrative (twists!). Even as an adult viewer, the show is interesting and even humorous because of the attractive and charming characters. Hopefully, it gets a second season since it’s a great all-ages programme! This show is a little bit different from everything else on the list but is still worth a mention as one of the best TV shows of 2022.
Spanish historical drama and adventure television miniseries Boundless debuted on June 10, 2022, under the direction of Simon West. It features Rodrigo Santoro and Lvaro Morte as Juan Sebastián Elcano and Ferdinand Magellan, respectively. It was developed to commemorate the First Circumvallation Around the World’s 500th anniversary. tracking the expedition that Juan Sebastián Elcano finished in 1519 and Ferdinand Magellan started in 1519. This is the first on our list to feature on Amazon Prime Video, with the new series giving a Pirates of the Caribbean vibe, so if you’re a fan of these movies, chances are you’ll be a fan of this.

She begins to wonder if people close to her, including her husband James (Oliver Jackson-Cohen), are hiding her own secrets from her as she attempts to piece together her history. Additionally, she finds herself on a quest for self-discovery after discovering an unexpected love triangle.

A new supernatural thriller titled The Girl in the Mirror, also known as Alma, follows the main character, Alma (Mireia Oriol) as she awakens from a catastrophic bus accident with no recollection of her past or the tragedy that claimed the lives of almost all of her classmates. Alma has no recollection of the incident—or of her past—when she awakens in a hospital. Amnesia and trauma cause her to have night terrors and unidentifiable visions, and her home is filled with memories that are not her own. She will work to regain her life and her identity while attempting to unravel the mysteries surrounding the tragedy with the assistance of her parents and friends, who are unknown to her.
